Online Boost For Local Tourism Economy

A new website providing information for residents and visitors to the Bromsgrove and Redditch area has been launched live on the web by the local independent tourism association.
The website, www.visitnorthworcestershire.com, aims to raise awareness of where to stay and what’s on offer, and has been developed by North East Worcestershire Tourism (NEWT) in association with Pin Digital Ltd, a specialist web design and e-marketing agency based in Atherstone.
“The Bromsgrove and Redditch area is full of hidden gems when it comes to places to visit and things to do, and there’s a range of accommodation to suit all visitors’ needs” says David Maine, Chairman. “ The website provides an effective means of encouraging visitors, and those living in the area, to discover what’s on offer here”.
Members of NEWT have their own webpage on the site, which they can easily update for themselves, and there is also an Events page with the facility for local organisations to submit details of forthcoming events of particular interest to visitors. To mark the launch, NEWT has reduced it membership for 2008/09 to just £20 – see the website for further details. |
